Bernard Collin
"For as long as I can remember, I've been drawn to metal and how this cold, industrial material can be given form as if an integral part of nature, through hard work and imagination."

Bernard Collin began metalworking at an early age in his native Burgundy, France, developing his natural abilities to create his unique style of intricate work. The artist's appreciation for the gifts of Mother Nature shines in every piece he lovingly creates. Over the past 25 years, Collin has divided his time between France and southern California, influencing his work with a unique combination of European and American craftsmanship.

Collin creates his work by first sketching a design on sheet metal, then freeing the form with a plasma cutter. As a final step, he painstakingly bevels the edges to bring his work to graceful life.
