Nancy Templeton
Takota Woodworking
"I love to mix and match grain patterns, contrast natural wood colors, and create designs that look as if the piece is painted, but it is actually laminated."

Formally trained as a jeweler, Nancy Templeton found metal "unforgiving" and returned to her first love...wood. Specializing in lamination, the artist is always looking for different ways to combine woods that are not commonly seen together.

Aware that some exotic hardwoods are endangered species and cannot be considered unless they have been obtained from "managed" or "certified" forests, Templeton makes every effort to contribute to the protection of our rainforests by utilizing environmentally responsible alternatives.
